1. Our Role

Haulweb is a software provider.

We do not operate as a freight broker, carrier, or shipper.

We do not buy, sell, or monetize user data.

We process operational data solely to provide transportation management services to our customers.

For business account data (loads, routes, tracking, documents), Haulweb acts as a service provider processing data on behalf of the customer.

2. What We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the platform.

Account Information

  • Name

  • Email

  • Company name

  • Role within the company

Operational Data (Customer-Controlled)

  • Load details

  • Routing information

  • ETA calculations

  • Uploaded documents

  • Chat messages

  • Location data (when enabled)

This information belongs to the customer organization.

Haulweb does not use this data for advertising or resale.

3. Location Data

Location tracking occurs only:

  • When enabled by the user

  • During authorized operational use

  • For the purpose of providing tracking and ETA functionality

We do not track users outside of authorized app usage.

Location data is used strictly for load visibility and operational functionality.

4. How We Use Data

We use collected information solely to:

  • Operate the platform

  • Enable communication features

  • Provide routing and ETA calculations

  • Process document uploads

  • Maintain system security

  • Provide customer support

We do not:

  • Sell personal information

  • Use operational data for advertising

  • Share data with third parties for marketing

Data is shared only:

  • Between authorized connected parties (e.g., carrier and broker)

  • With infrastructure providers (hosting, payment processors)

Service providers are contractually required to safeguard data.

Customers retain ownership of their operational data.

Haulweb does not claim ownership of:

  • Load information

  • Route data

  • Uploaded documents

  • Communication content

7. Data Retention

Data is retained:

  • While an account is active

  • As required for service continuity

  • As required by law

Customers may request deletion of their account data, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Security

We implement reasonable security safeguards, including:

  • Encrypted connections

  • Access controls

  • Authentication protections

  • Monitoring for unauthorized access

No system can guarantee absolute security.

9. AI Processing

Certain features may use automated systems to extract document data or calculate ETAs.

Users remain responsible for verifying operational decisions.

Automated processing is performed solely to provide the Services.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as necessary.

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance.
